Homestead Style Hot Process Soap
Cooked the old way, in small batches, on a stovetop in the Greensprings.
Our Homestead Style soap is made with olive oil and coconut oil, hot-cooked until fully saponified, then hand-pressed into bars. The slow cook gives each bar its characteristic rustic top — no two are quite alike — and means it’s ready to use in about two weeks instead of the month-plus that cold-process bars require.
Because the lye is fully spent before the bar is shaped, fragrance is added at the end and stays true. What you smell is what you get.
Simple ingredients. Made by hand. Cut, cured, and wrapped at home.
